Coach Spencer is entering his 1st year as the Generals' Head Coach. He is from Pasadena, Texas, where he played under the leadership of Phil Eaton, at Pasadena High School (1990-1993). He played collegiate basketball at Weatherford JC and Texas Wesleyan University. Coach Spencer has over 25 years of coaching experience. In 2020, he was named Class 5A Coach of the Year by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches. Coach Spencer is married to his wife Terisa, also a teacher, and they have 5 children. Reece, Pierce, Trace, Chaney, and Ansley.

Coach Jeff Wylie brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our Aldine MacArthur Boys Basketball Program and our highly respected coaching staff. Coach Wylie has over 30 years of basketball coaching experience at the Youth, Junior High, High School and AAU Travel levels.
Coach Wylie has had the opportunity to coach exceptional
teams and basketball players. He has been a part of 5 “Gold
Balls” at 5 different Texas High Schools during his experience as a Texas High School Basketball Coach. While at Klein Collins High School in 2004, he helped coach the Tigers to a Texas High School UIL State Semi-Finalist and Region II UIL Championship Season. At Spring Dekaney High School, Coach Wylie was named the 2011 Coach of the Year, with a 34-6, 14-0 District Championship and Texas High School UIL Region II Semi-Finalist Wildcat Team.
Coach Wylie’s passion for the game and his dedication to
helping young student athletes develop their playing skills, as well as their character, will be an asset to our Aldine MacArthur Boys Basketball Program.

Coach Haevischer brings experience from multiple levels including AAU, youth programs, and high school. Coach Haevischer emphasizes accountability, academic success, team culture, and perseverance. He has led his teams to strong debut seasons, demonstrating leadership and a deep commitment to player growth on and off the court.

The 2025 season will be Coach Ware’s 2nd season at MacArthur and 6th overall as a coach, having coached Football and Basketball for six years, as well as Track for five. Coach Ware is also a member of the Texas High School Coaches Association and the Greater Houston Football Coaches Association. Before arriving at MacArthur, Coach Ware coached at Dayton High School and Woodrow Wilson Junior High in Dayton ISD. Coach Ware is a native Houstonian and graduate of New Caney High School, c/o 2016, and a graduate of Trinity University c/o 2020.

Coach Daniels was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and is a father of 4 children. Kai Cooper, Kyron Daniels, Brooklyn Daniels, and Bailee Daniels. Coach Daniels is proven commodity from Westfield high school class of 2009. Coach Daniels started his colligate career with Southeast Prep (2009) he then transferred to Iowa Central Community college (2010-2012), where he was a 2 year starter and
Honorable Mention All-Conference selection. Coach Daniels finished his career at Division 2 Southern Nazarene University (2013-2016), where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Education. Coach Daniels is entering his 4th year as an educator and his 7th year as a coach. Coach Daniels has been part of the MacArthur family since 2022 and is excited for the future.
